Stipend : The selected candidates will be paid stipend during
Apprenticeship at the applicable rates as per extant instructions. Rates are liable to change as per rules and directions issued by Railway Board from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria ::
Age Limit : 15 Years to 24 Years (as on 25/10/2025)
Age Relaxation :
- 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
- 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) -10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Ex-servicemen in the age will be total Military service plus 3 years subject
to completion of at least six months regular service after attestation.
Educational Qualification : The candidate must have passed Matric/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board and ITI in relevant trade (i.e National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).
Documents Required :
- Scanned Photograph : (size 3.5 cm X 3.5 cm taken not later than three months from the date of application in colour, JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of file should be between 20 kb to 70 kb) with clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses.
- Scanned Signature : (size 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm. in JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of file should be between 10 kb to 30 kb). Signature must be in running handwriting not in block/capital or disjointed letters.
- SSC (Standard 10th) or its equivalent Marks Sheet.
- Certificate for proof of Date of Birth (Standard 10th or its equivalent Marks Sheet or School Leaving Certificate indicating Date of Birth).
- Consolidated Marks Sheet of ITI for all semesters of the trade in which applied/Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks.
- National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates, in Annexure-“I” & “II”, wherever applicable. EWS certificate.
- Disability certificate, in case of PwBD Candidate.
- Discharge certificate/Serving certificate, in case of candidates applied against Ex-servicemen quota.
