Scale of Pay (for All Post) : Rs. 14,000/- to 70,000/- PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs.6800/- plus other allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.

Eligibility Criteria ::
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025) : Age limit should be between 18-40 years, for all posts, candidates born not on or before 31.12.1984 and not later than 01.01.2007 are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation : Upper age limit is relaxable as given bellow
- 5 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) & ST (H).
- 3 (three) years in case of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
- 2 (Two) years in case of Ex-serviceman.
- 10 (ten) years in case of PwD candidates irrespective of castes.
Educational Qualification (for all post) :
- Candidate should have minimum HSLC or equivalent qualification from recognized Board/ Institution.
- Candidate should have National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in appropriate trade.
- 1 year Industrial / Teaching Experience desirable.
Selection Procedure ::
Selection will be happen in two phases —
Phase 1
- The Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type written test.
- Exam Venue for Phase 1 : Guwahati
- Exam Duration : 2 Hours
- Total Marks : 100 Marks
- Total Question : 100 MCQ (1 Mark Each)
- Negative Marking : No Negative Marking
Exam Syllabus
Phase 2
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test category wise, After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Skill Test in their concerned trade/subject.
- Candidate Call Ratio : Against each vacancy, 1:4 candidates will be shortlisted
- Exam Venue for Phase 2 : Guwahati
- Skill Test Mark : 50 Marks
Final Selection :
The final merit list will be prepared posts and category wise on the basis of the total marks scored in Written Test and Skill Test.

- A latest passport size photograph.
- HSLC Admit Card/ HSLC Pass Certificate.
- Qualifying Examination Certificate and Mark sheet.
- Scanned Signature
- Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
- Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority (in case of reserved category candidates).
- Declaration in Form “A” under rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019.
- Person with Disability (PwD) Certificate issued by Competent Authority (if applicable).
- Copy of personal ID (Adhar Card/Voter Card/Driving License/Bank Pass Book 1st Page).
